A
trip to the Mixteca region of Puebla always requires at least a couple days of
preparation: donations of clothing are collected from believers and then
separated by age/sex, grains and groceries are purchased in bulk at the large
market, goods are separated into individual donation bags, special gifts and
Bibles are purchased, and the car is carefully loaded. This trip we were thankful for donations of
clothing from many brothers in both congregations,
as well as a donation of
both clothing and medicines from a Christian bookstore in Puebla City.
One
special gift that was purchased for this trip were 10 boxes of home dialysis
treatment that Paco found on sale- remembering people in the village in
dialysis.
Jemina
was Paco´s “helper” to separate and organize donations before leaving.
