Our “NEW” Car!!

Our 2000 Toyota minivan had been through many ministry adventures to many places and with many (many) people and lots of cargo.  However, this year it was in the mechanic at least every month suffering the problems of an old, very used vehicle.  However, it wasn´t until the car broke down on route to the hospital for our baby Asher´s birth that we really accepted that we needed a newer car. 

The Lord obviously knew our need because we saw a 2012 Honda Pilot for sale in a parking lot during our weekly grocery shopping this month.  Upon investigation, the model seemed perfect for us: seats 8 people (so important as we are always moving people with ministry), and SUV-style (studier build and higher clearance for bad Mexican roads), only 6 cylinder (trying to save on super-expensive Mexican gas), and fits baby car-seats

side-by-side (now that we are parents of two little ones). Even more amazing was that the owner had all its vehicle maintenance up to date (with evidence!)- preventative car care is not Mexican culture as much as in the USA. 

We praise the Lord for the provision of this vehicle for our family and ministry!!
