Pastors' & Leaders' Conferences in Cuernavaca

Paco, along with two other leaders from our congregation, attended 2-day conferences for pastors and leaders in Cuernavaca, Mexico.

Not only was Paco pleased to greet and catch up with fellow pastors from around the country, but was encouraged anew by the Word of God. In John 12:20-21, Paco was reminded t
hat the reason he preaches is not to present something new or exciting, or to fill seats in the building, but for the people to see Jesus.  We rest knowing the Lord has already called people to Himself and will reveal Himself to them through His Word.

FestiniƱos: Children Evangelism in Misiones Community

This February marked our first year anniversary of preaching the Word of God in the Misiones community, and we celebrated with a big, evangelistic event for the children of the community!

Two of the men at our church volunteered to rope off and decorate the tiny basketball court in front of our
church room for the public event.  We were so excited to see our small church group all active, serving together to make the event possible- from inflating balloons, to installing speakers, to registering the children, to leading games or participating in the clown skit!

Over 130 children arrived for the
event, along with many parents and family members.  They laughed at the games, danced with the worship music, and listened attentively to the Gospel message of Jesus Christ, before each received a Samaritan´s Purse shoebox gift.

Already we are witnessing fruits of the event: two new families attended
service the Sunday following the event, and 7 new children started attended our Tuesday Kids´ Bible Club!

Valentine's Day Couples' Dinner

For Valentine’s Day, our church planned a romantic couples’ dinner- complete with Italian spaghetti dinner under the moonlight!

The evening started with our “kissing” photo booth, and games with prizes, quizzing each couple on how well they know their significant other.  Over dessert, we studied a Bible passage on
our God-given role as spouses.
